Guardian Pendant Bear

The hare has always been an important symbol for me, which is why it has always been our logo. In British mythology, all hares are female and I come from a long line of women. When we get to 18 we all get a hare tattooed on our foot. We are “the ladies of the harey feet”. I also, rather fortunately married someone whose surname (Hargreaves) means grove of hares!  Whenever I am lucky enough to see a hare, it always feels like a special day. When my children were smaller I wrote them a story about magical creatures in a forest. Amongst those creatures were a bear and a hare and they were protectors and guardians of the forest.  

A while ago, while out shopping, a hare ran infront of us.  It was so unexpected and so out of place that it took my breath away. In that instant I knew that I wanted to wear a hare ring as a symbol of strength and protection. Everyone loved her and other people wanted one too. So many people have animals that they feel are special and meaningful to them. So the Guardian collection was born and has grown! The Guardians are animals to help you feel strong, bold, and also protected. They are made with huge amounts of love and each one feels like it has its own character.
